- WARFRAME OBERON SYSTEM PC
The guide is written for the PC version of Warframe. This guide may contain some outdated information very soon as lot of things can change rapidly with every future patch! I’ll try my best to correct the information as long as I’m still playing the game, which I currently still do. Added a small section about the new open world, new resource links, small fixes. WARFRAME OBERON SYSTEM UPDATE
Now updated to Warframe Update 24 “Fortuna”. The build might have been a bit memish before and draw attention more because of its uniqueness rather than its functionality, but I promise you - if you try it now you won't regret it. While not everybody might enjoy fully comittedmelee play, Oberon in my eyes has become one of the top picks for the role simply because he can passively provide incredible support defensive while featuring insane offensive capabilities. In his unique niche Oberon just got a massive boost to his DPS, to his damage reduction support capabilities and top his own durability. With Deimos Weeping Wounds also has gotten a lot more affordable! Conclusion Depending on your weapon and your combo count (Weeping Wounds) that was already a lot of healing before. With Arcane Strike and the newly gained Warcry Oberon gains whooping 60% (arcane) + 51% (Warcry) = 111% melee attackspeed without taking into accounts single weapon mod! Now remember that every hit heals your 11 health per status effect on the target. Oh - and he obviously debuffs all enemies within earshot range as well! With a whooping 51% speed decrease (don't get envy Nova players!). That's the damage reduction - but now remember that Oberon also 68 health per second and 20 health for each kill he makes! How does this affect his allies, though?Įven a squishy Banshee with 125 armor would go from Replace ability 1 if you want to keep the 2+4 armor shred / replace ability 2 if you think about opting in Smite Infusion to buff your team's damage. Depending on what content you're facing consider swapping Arcane Guardian for an offensive arcane. That's before Adaptation and your health restoration. Both bonuses are additively, so while the synergy is limited the total reduction can make even squishier frames quite beafy already. As the freshly infused Warcry grants 85% bonus armor the added bulk already compensates for the lack of the failsave by further decreasing incoming damage. It's a failsave, but one that remains without impact for large parts of your mission.
Combat Discipline will continuously damage you, but you can easily heal back up.Īfter careful consideration I decided to kick out Oberon's iconic Phoenix Renewal. The basic concept remains as same as in the linked topic: Your Renewal's Bulk allows you to be durable enough for melee combat, especially when combined through constant healing via Healing Return. If you#re not using a Slash weapon remove Buzzkill and combine those two slots to Viral) Swap Transient Fortitude for Umbral Intensify if you have the capacity. With the new Helminth system I revised the build to maximize it's potential: TL:DR: A while ago I posted a well received Oberon build that used Healing return and Oberon's Renewal to compensate the penalties of Combat Discipline.
